भूमिका : महाकवि इकबाल ने हमारे भारत की प्रशंसा करते हुए अपनी पंक्तियों में कहा है
"सारे जहां से अच्छा, हिंदुस्ता हमारा
हम बुलबुले हैं इसकी, यह गुलसिता हमारा।।"
अपनी मातृभूमि सभी को प्रिय लगती है। जिस धरती पर हमने जन्म लिया। जिसका अन्न-जल खा, पीकर हम बड़े हुए। उसके प्रति लगाव होना स्वभाविक ही है। हमारा प्रिय भारतवर्ष विश्व का सातवां सबसे बड़ा देश है और जनसंख्या की दृष्टि से इसका स्थान विश्व में चीन के बाद दूसरा है।
नामकरण : भारत मेरा देश है, मेरी मातृभूमि है। भारत का प्राचीन नाम आर्यावर्त है। माना जाता है कि महा प्रतापी राजा, दुष्यंत के पुत्र भरत के नाम पर ही हमारे देश का नाम 'भारतवर्ष' पड़ा ।
भौगोलिक स्थिति : भारत एक विशाल देश है। इसके उत्तर में हिमालय इसके मुकुट की भांति सुशोभित है। मेरा देश तीन ओर से समुद्र से घिरा हुआ है। ऐसा लगता है दक्षिण में हिंद महासागर इसके चरण पखार रहा हो। कश्मीर से कन्याकुमारी तक और असम से लेकर गुजरात तक यह फैला हुआ है।
प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य : प्रकृति ने मेरे देश को खूब संवारा है। यहां की प्राकृतिक छटा दर्शनीय है। छह ऋतु प्रत्येेक बारी-बारी से आकर इसका श्रृंगार करती हैं। इसी धरा पर पृथ्वी का स्वर्ग कहा जाने वाला 'कश्मीर' विद्यमान है। इस देश की प्राकृतिक सुंदरता अनुपम है। प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य से भरा केरल, हिमाचल, अरुणाचल प्रदेश अत्यंत आकर्षक हैं। नैनीताल, मसूरी, दार्जिलिंग, माउंट आबू, शिमला, कुल्लू-मनाली जैसे अनेक स्मरणीय स्थान इसी देश में मौजूद हैं।
संस्कृति :भारत की संस्कृति अत्यंत प्राचीन है। इसी देश ने संपूर्ण मानव जाति को प्रेम, अहिंसा सत्य, धर्म तथा भाईचारे का संदेश दिया। इसी धरती ने वसुधैव कुटुंबकम का संदेश समुचित मानवता को दिया। यह देश ऋषि-मुनियों, संत-महात्माओं का देश है। इसी भूमि पर अनेक धर्मो ने जन्म लिया। जैन-बौद्ध, सिख धर्म यहां से पूरी दुनिया में फैले। सदियों के बाद आज भी भारतीय संस्कृति जीवित है। अनेकता में एकता इसकी प्रमुख विशेषता रही है। यह वेदों, उपनिषदों और गीता-रामायण का देश है।
स्वतंत्रता प्राप्ति के बाद प्रगति तथा उज्जवल भविष्य : सैकड़ों वर्षो की पराधीनता के बाद भारत ने 15 अगस्त 1947 को आजादी पाई। अत्यंत जर्जर अवस्था में था। स्वतंत्रता प्राप्ति के बाद इस देश में हर क्षेत्र में अभूतपूर्व प्रगति की। आज हम लगभग हर क्षेत्र में आत्मनिर्भर हैं। आज हमारा देश परमाणु शक्ति संपदा देश है। जिसकी विश्व में अपनी पहचान है। यद्यपि बेरोजगारी, जनसंख्या की अधिकता, निर्धनता जैसी कुछ समस्याएं अभी भी विद्यमान हैं। परंतु भारत का भविष्य उज्जवल है। हम हर क्षेत्र में निरंतर प्रगति की ओर अग्रसर हैं।
देश के प्रति हमारा कर्तव्य : हमारा कर्तव्य है कि हम मिल जुल कर रहे तथा देश की एकता में के लिए कृत संकल्प हो। अनेक धर्मो संप्रदायों आदि के झगड़ों को छोड़ कर हम अपने देश के विकास के लिए कार्य करें।

Introduction: Mahakavi Iqbal has said in his lines praising our India
"Sire Jahan Se Achchha, Hindusta Hamara,
We are its bubbles, this gulcita is ours. "
Everyone loves their motherland. The land on which we were born. We grew up after eating and drinking food and water. It is only natural to have attachment to him. Our beloved India is the seventh largest country in the world and in terms of population it ranks second in the world after China.
Nomenclature: India is my country, my motherland. The ancient name of India is Aryavarta. It is believed that our country got the name 'Bharatvarsha' after Bharata, son of Dushyant, the great king.
Geographical location: India is a large country. To its north the Himalayas is adorned like its crown. My country is surrounded on three sides by the sea. It seems that the Indian Ocean in the south is holding its phase. It extends from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Assam to Gujarat.
Natural beauty: Nature has beautified my country. The natural shade here is worth visiting. Six seasons come in turn to make up for it. 'Kashmir', called heaven on earth, exists on this earth. The natural beauty of this country is unique. Kerala, Himachal, Arunachal Pradesh are full of natural beauty. Many memorable places like Nainital, Mussoorie, Darjeeling, Mount Abu, Shimla, Kullu-Manali are present in this country.
Culture: India's culture is very ancient. This country gave the message of love, non-violence truth, religion and brotherhood to the entire human race. This earth gave the message of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam to the proper humanity. This country is a country of sages, sages and sages. Many religions took birth on this land. Jain-Buddhist, Sikhism spread all over the world from here. Indian culture is still alive after centuries. Unity in diversity has been its main feature. It is the country of the Vedas, Upanishads and the Gita-Ramayana.
Progress and bright future after independence: India attained independence on August 15, 1947 after hundreds of years of subjugation. Was in a very shabby state. After independence, this country made unprecedented progress in every field. Today we are self-sufficient in almost every field. Today our country is a nuclear power wealth country. Which has its own identity in the world. Although some problems like unemployment, overpopulation, poverty still exist. But India's future is bright. We are poised for continued progress in every field.
Our duty to the country: It is our duty that we are united and we are committed to the unity of the country. We should work for the development of our country, leaving the conflicts of many religions, sects etc.
