   मनुष्य मौखिक एवं लिखित भाषा में अपने विचार प्रकट कर सकता है और करता रहा है, किंतु इससे भाषा को निश्चित करने के लिए नियमबद्ध योजना की आवश्यकता होती है, और उस नियमबद्ध योजना को हम व्याकरण कहते हैं। इसकी परिभाषा हम कई तरीकों से दे सकते हैं इसके निम्नलिखित कुछ रूप इस प्रकार हैं।

                         भाषा/ Language

     भाषा वह माध्यम है जिसके द्वारा मनुष्य अपने मन के विचारों को दूसरों के सामने बोल कर या लिखकर व्यक्त करता है तथा दूसरे के विचारों को सुनकर या पढ़कर समझता है।(Language is the medium through which a person expresses the thoughts of his mind by speaking or writing in front of others, and understands the thoughts of others by listening or reading them.)

 

    भाषा के रूप

भाषा के दो रूप हैं: 

1.मौखिक भाषा 

2.लिखित भाषा 

इन दोनों के अलावा एक  और रूप है :

1 मौखिक भाषा : मौखिक भाषा, भाषा का वह रूप है, जिसके द्वारा हम अपने विचारों को बोल कर दूसरों के सामने व्यक्त करते हैं।

 2. लिखित भाषा : लिखित भाषा, भाषा का वह रूप है, जिसके द्वारा हम अपने मन के विचारों को दूसरों के सामने लिखकर व्यक्त करते हैं ।

3.सांकेतिक भाषा : यह भाषा का रूप है, जिसके द्वारा हम अपने मन के विचारों को दूसरों के सामने संकेतों द्वारा अर्थात इशारों से व्यक्त करते हैं ।

    Forms of language

There are two forms of language:

1. Oral language

2. written language

Apart from these two, there is another form:

3. Sign Language

1 Oral language: Oral language is the form of language by which we express our thoughts to others by speaking.

2. Written language: Written language is the form of language by which we express our thoughts by writing in front of others.

3. Sign language: It is the form of language, through which we express the thoughts of our mind in front of others by gestures i.e. gestures.
